The day starts off with a dive to either Armageddon or The Wrecks (you make the call!). Then we'll head down to Butler Ridge Beach to chill out and BBQ. Those that wish to dive Butler Ridge can do that after the BBQ. This is a great dive for photography!

Come for all three, just the BBQ or just the butler ridge dive.
Please RSVP to info@scubadivestcroix.com so I need how much food to bring.

BYOB and if you would like to bring a side dish or something that is optional. Hotdogs and hamburgers provided by the S.C.D.A.

This event is members of The St. Croix Dive Association and family members only.

Dead shark left in Miami street after failed sale:

MIAMI – The body of a shark was left lying in the middle of a downtown Miami street after two men tried to sell it to several fish markets. The men apparently carried the five or six-foot-long fish around on the city's Metromover downtown train, prompting calls to police.

News footage Tuesday night showed the dead animal in the street with police officers and cruisers nearby. Two stations reported that a pair of men had tried to sell the animal to at least three fish markets for around $10.

St. Croix Dive Association Membership Membership fee's have been reduced this year to $25.00 ($35.00 for couples).  You can bring the money next time we see each other at a dive or you can contact me to find out where to mail it.  We have a really great group this year who all enjoy diving equally......  This should be a really fun year!  Remember, you must be a paid member of the dive association to be able to attend the boat dives, get the dive shop discounts and participate in the contest offered by the dive shops.

All divers will be asked to sign the "MUTUAL WAIVER, RELEASE, AND EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS OF SCUBA DIVING AND SPECIAL RECOGNITION OF DEEP DIVING HAZARDS" on their first dive with the group.  You will only need to sign this form once and it will be good for all future shore dives with the group.  Should you wish to have a copy emailed to you so that you may look it over before the dive you can send me an email requesting one to june@scubadivestcroix.com
